EGG
with Val SolariEGG unfolds as a performative banquet where food serves as sculpture, gesture, and narrative. Placing the egg at the center of the experience, the project uses its transformations to explore sensuality and shared pleasure. The tablescape itself is a circular ecosystem: artist Valeria Solari created the vessels using bioceramics made from powdered eggshells and carrageenan, turning waste into art. Across this landscape, egg-based preparations appear in evolving states—runny, whipped, set, or fried—inviting moments of suspense as yolks break and sauces flow. While grounded in material research, EGG focuses on the performative power of food, creating an ephemeral choreography that turns the table into a living, edible habitat.
